YOU HAVE A STORY--AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL!

​People ask me all the time how I got started writing, speaking, why I choose to write and speak about true beauty? Why does it matter? Why does it matter to me? Why should it matter to you?

​At Project Beautiful in Bowie, Texas this year I had the opportunity to share my story with an amazing crowd of young women. In two minutes this video clip encapsulates my story—how it brought me to find my true reflection and why it matters to me that you find yours.

Wherever you are, wherever you’ve been, whatever you’ve done, whatever has been done to you—you are beautiful. All of us, no matter what we look like on the outside, struggle sometimes. We question our value, our worth. But God never doubts our talents, our beauty, our capabilities, or if we matter. To Him, we not only matter, but we are of the highest importance—the Creator of the Universe’s most priceless possessions. We grapple with reminding ourselves of that, of believing how beautiful we are to Him. But I want to remind you that to God you are wonderful. To Him, you inspire awe.

I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14
